§ Mr. Simmondsasked the Secretary for Petroleum if he will give an assurance that motorists who accept the current reduced supplementary allowances for petrol without making appeal for increases, will not be subjected to criticism by his Department for having accepted higher supplementary allowances during the period ended 31st July.
Mr. LloydThe fact that a motorist accepts without appeal a reduced supplementary ration for August and September will not of itself be treated as evidence that he wrongfully accepted a larger ration for the previous period.
