§ Mr. AttleeThe milk industry, both in regard to production and distribution, operates in very close association with the Ministry of Food. No proposals for nationalisation of the industry are at present under consideration, but the Government naturally holds itself free to take any steps of control which may be necessary in the light of war-time conditions.
