AndersonThere is a certain similarity between the sound of some motor vehicles in low gear and the begin-124W ning of the air-raid warning signal; but, as I have stated on previous occasions, misapprehension arising from this cause cannot be more than momentary. As regards the second part of the Question, the duration of the warning signal has already been halved.
