§ Mr. EdenThe committee appointed by my predecessor to prepare a scheme of education for the Army in war-time has reported and its report has been generally accepted by the Army Council. A Director of Education has been appointed, and has now taken up his duties. The question of the establishment necessary to carry out the scheme is under active consideration.
