§ Mr. RamsbothamOwing to the fall in the numbers of children attending, the schools have been closed for the time being by the local education authorities in a number of boroughs in the Metropolitan area, and the closure of schools has also been ordered in certain other areas. For reasons which my hon. Friend will appreciate I am communicating the names of these areas to him privately.
