§ Mr. BoothbyThe position of vegetarians has been carefully considered by the Food Rationing (Special Diets) Advisory Committee of the Medical Research Council. In the light of the restriction in fat rations which came into force in, July last, the committee have advised that no extra fat rations are necessary, and in view of his authoritative opinion my Noble Friend is not prepared to authorise the exchange of coupons as suggested by my hon. Friend.
