§ The Prime MinisterThe Government Departments concerned are the three Service Departments and the Foreign Office. In addition to these, the War Organisation of the British Red Cross Society and Order of St. John has a Prisoners of War Department at St. James's Palace which, with the cordial co-operation of the Government Departments, is concerned with the welfare of British prisoners of war in enemy hands, especially in the matter of despatching food and clothing parcels.
