§ Sir G. Gibsonasked the Minister of Shipping, whether he is aware that a firm engaged in manufacturing for export, paid 262W £61 10s. 1d. for freight and insurance to a shipping company; that the voyage was cancelled and the goods unloaded; that the shipping company refuse to refund the sum paid; whether this was done with his authority and approval; and whether, in view of the harm such treatment of British exporters will do to our export trade, he proposes to take any steps in the matter.
Sir A. SalterIf my hon. Friend will enable me to identify the particular case which he has in mind I will write and inform him of the position in regard to that case.
