Friend is referring to the more drastic dimming of car side-lights which has recently been imposed, I would point out that at the same time permission was given to motorists to continue to use their masked head-light after the air-raid warning. This concession should considerably assist doctors and other persons who are called upon to drive at night while a warning is in force.
