§ Mr. H. MorrisonA.R.P. Controllers and Chief Officers of Police and Fire Services have been asked to report any case 1225W of gallantry coming to their notice and Regional Commissioners may make recommendations for consideration by the Departments concerned any by the committee presided over by Lord Chatfield. There is no question of an application being made by anyone, but all heads of services are encouraged to report acts of gallantry which come to their notice so that they may be considered for submission to His Majesty who makes the final award.
