§ Mr. Duff CooperThe B.B.C. are willing to accept any directions, whether general or particular, from the Ministry on all matters considered to be in the national interests. All official announcements will in future be transmitted to the B.B.C. by the Ministry, and a system of checks has been established which should make impossible a recurrence of the event referred to by the hon. Member.
