§ Mr. R. Gibsonasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Fisher, widow, 13, Mill Street, Greenock, joined the Royal Garrison Artillery, Territorial Army, early in 1938; on 18th November, 1938, joined the Regular Army and is now serving in France; that she is unfit to work and her son makes an allotment of 7s. per week; that she has applied on several occasions for an allowance but has on each occasion been refused on the ground that her son is a Regular soldier; and whether he will take the necessary steps to secure to her an allowance of 17s. per week?
