§ Mr. Grovesasked the Minister of Health why no deputation has been received from the Medical Practitioners' Union, who submitted a proposal to him, on 14th November, 1939, for medical benefit to be extended, on a non-contributory basis, to dependants of certain men serving in the Armed Forces and requested him then to receive a deputation for discussion of such an important scheme; and why no action has been taken to adopt this proposal which is supported by many insurance committees?
