Glynasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he is aware that uncertainty has resulted from the circular recently issued by him in regard to the supply of sugar for fruit preservation, in view of the fact that these forms had to be returned before 20th April, and that they appear to be inapplicable to those householders who 933W purchase fruit and make jam; and whether the matter will be reviewed so as to ensure that an adequate supply of preserving sugar shall be made available for all persons who are in a position to make jam either from their own fruit or otherwise?
