§ Sir R. Dorman-SmithApart from a very few machines of an experimental nature, I am informed that there are no producer-gas tractors in operation in Great Britain at the present time. While my Department is sympathetic to the introduction of a producer-gas tractor, I understand that the types of machine so far tested are not entirely satisfactory.
