§ Sir J. AndersonThe numbers of Germans and Austrians registered as resident in the city of Oxford and the borough of Cambridge is 641 and 505 respectively. As I have already indicated, I do not think it should be assumed that every person possessing German or Austrian nationality is a potential menace; but there are individuals—who are not necessarily persons possessing German or Austrian nationality—whose activities require watching, and constant vigilance is being exercised for this purpose.
