§ Mr. Cocksasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether allotment holders and others will be allowed to sell their surplus produce without possessing a trader's licence, which involves elaborate book-keeping?
§ Mr. BoothbyA general licence has been issued authorising the sale by retail of produce from gardens and allotments which are not carried on primarily for the purpose of gaining a livelihood. In those cases no trader's licence will be required. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of this general licence.
