§ Mr. H. MorrisonThe demand for wire netting for urgent defence purposes is such that only very limited supplies are available for other purposes. These will be required for some time to come to meet the demands from hospitals and from factories engaged on Government work, but the question of release as early as possible of supplies to schools is being kept in view. Local education authorities have been advised meanwhile to use the alternatives recommended by the Ministry of Home Security.
