Mooreasked the Home Secretary whether he has caused, or will cause, all individuals wearing foreign uniforms to carry identification cards; and will he consult with the Secretary of State for War, with a view to the Home Guard co-operating with the police in verifying the identity of such individuals?
§ Mr. PeakeArrangements have already been made by the Admiralty, War Office and Air Ministry, in consultation with the Home Office, to issue suitable documents to all persons serving with the Allied armed forces in this country. Steps are also being taken to secure the necessary co-operation referred to in the second part of the Question.
