§ Mr. MabaneThe employés of His Majesty's Office of Works are engaged on work of national importance, but where it is considered that a man can be more usefully employed on munition or other national work he may be permitted to resign. A man leaving the Board's service in such circumstances may be reemployed, if, during the period of the war and six months thereafter, a vacancy occurs and he is then out of employment.
