HC Deb 04 July 1940 vol 362 c1021W
Mr. Stokes

asked the Minister of Supply the fees being paid by Sir Alexander Gibb and Partners, to Oscar Faber for supervising concrete work, roads and railways; to J. M. and D. M. Watson for supervising drainage work and to Professor Halford for architectural work at a royal ordnance factory in course of construction in the North of England; and whether such expenses are being reimbursed to Sir Alexander Gibb and Partners in addition to the £15,000 a year paid to them for their supervision in the construction of this and two other factories?

Mr. Harold Macmillan

It would be contrary to established practice to publish the information asked for. The payments in question do not come out of the fee paid to Sir Alexander Gibb and Partners.
