§ Mr. Grovesasked the Minister of Health why the special certificates required to be used by general practitioners in connection with the treatment of unaccompanied children when attending in billets are supplied to local medical war committees, although the financial and other arrangements are made by local authorities through medical officers of health?
Mr. M. MacDonaldI assume that the hon. Member refers to the certificates to be given by medical practitioners in connection with the payment of an allowance to householders for home nursing. Distribution of forms for these certificates through local medical war committees to practitioners in their areas was arranged in agreement with the Central Medical War Committee as a matter of administrative convenience.
