§ Mr. StanleyThe number of such chaplains is 512. Of these, 371 are in receipt of pay at the rate of 19s. a day, and 141 at the rate of 15s. 4d. a day. I have no information as to those who are in receipt of benefits accruing from livings still held, and those who hold no other preferment.
