§ Sir J. AndersonIn the exercise of the powers conferred on me by this Regulation to order the detention of persons who have hostile associations, it is my duty to consider whether on the facts of each particular case detention is necessary in the interests of the Defence of the Realm. It would not be right for me to state in advance whether or not it may become necessary to take any such action in respect to any particular individual.
