Mr. Rostron Duckworthasked the Minister of Health whether local authorities preferring to supply powdered milk instead of liquid milk for babies and very young children are in any way enabled to benefit under the terms of Circular 1840; and, if not, whether arrangements can be made to enable them to do so?
§ Mr. ElliotThe scheme to which my hon. Friend refers is limited to liquid milk, and special arrangements for financial assistance to local authorities for the supply of dried milk are not at present contemplated.
