§ Sir R. Dorman-SmithI am aware of, and greatly regret the hardship caused to those engaged in the fishing industry as a result of war. I am, however, doing everything in my power to maintain production. The hon. Member will realise that the reduction in the number of trawlers engaged in fishing is due to the requirements of national defence, which must continue to have priority.
