§ Mr. LloydI understand that the stoppage of these two collieries is due to the destruction by the severe weather at the end of January of the overhead transmission lines supplying electric power from a central power station. I am informed that an urgent order was placed for the repair of the damage; that a large number of men are at work on this, but that the duration of the stoppage will be several weeks in both cases.
