Member would be under a misapprehension if he supposed that active clinical work as well as mere administrative work in a narrow sense would not be required of the medical practitioner who may be engaged by my Department. Indeed, the age limits stated are an indication that active clinical experience and practice of some years' standing are among the qualifications desired.
