§ Mr. W. Robertsasked the Secretary of State for War whether it is possible to provide separate camps for prisoners of war and interned aliens?
Sir V. War renderCombatants and non-combatants are interned in separate camps. As regards the latter, it is the policy to intern resident enemy subjects and captured merchant seamen in separate camps, but, owing to the interference with constructional work caused by the recent bad weather, it has in some cases not yet been possible to give effect to this.
