HC Deb 06 February 1940 vol 357 cc54-5W
Captain Plugge

asked the Home Secretary whether, in view of the desirability of doing everything possible to stimulate economic and cultural co-operation between Great Britain and France, he can now arrange to facilitate travel between the two countries and to revoke the present numerous restrictions which make travel by private individuals between the two countries difficult?

Sir J. Anderson

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply given by the Prime Minister to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for East Aberdeen (Mr. Boothby) on 24th January.
