§ Mr. Ridleyasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade what special steps he is taking to secure a proper supply of batteries for persons compelled to use electric instruments for the relief of deafness?
Major Lloyd GeorgeThe Board of Trade have impressed on the principal manufacturers the importance they attach to meeting the requirements of deaf persons for such batteries, and are always ready to take up with them individual cases of difficulty. I have no evidence of any widespread shortage.
