HC Deb 06 February 1940 vol 357 cc47-8W
Mr. A. Henderson

asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that the Atcham Rural District Council have had difficulty in procuring land for the extension of their cemetery, which will soon be full; that the Ministerley Parish Council, after correspondence, reported that the necessary land could not be found, so that the district council will need to use compulsory powers; whether he has any information as to some suitable land being available but the price too high; what offers have been made to the council as to area and price; and what the present position is of the negotiations?

Mr. Elliot

I have no detailed information on the matters referred to by the hon. and learned Member, but I am in communication with the rural district council.
