§ Mr. Malcolm MacMillanasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he will take steps to ensure a much wider circulation of the daily Report of Parliamentary Debates by issuing copies at a reduced price or/and issuing copies to all local libraries, and by other means, in order to increase the supply of accurate Parliamentary and political information and stimulate interest in our democratic institutions?
§ Captain CrookshankArrangements exist at present under which copies of the OFFICIAL REPORT are on sale at half the published price to public libraries, and I do not think that any extension of those arrangements is called for at the moment.
