§ Mr. EdenNo definite information as to the present condition of the British war memorials erected on French or Belgian soil has so far been received. The Imperial War Graves Commission have naturally been making inquiries through all available channels, and an announcement will be made by them as soon as authentic reports have been received. There is, however, evidence that the damage done to these memorials is not as great as had been feared.
