Mr. Stokes

asked the Minister of Supply whether he is now prepared to state the names of the area boards and the salaries paid to them?

The names of the members of the Area Boards are given in the appended statement. As regards the second part of the Question, the chairman and deputy-chairman and the representatives of the employers and of the trade unions on the boards are in all cases serving without remuneration. The official representatives are members of their respective Departments and receive no additional remuneration for serving as members of the Area Boards.
