§ Mr. Jacksonasked the Minister of Agriculture whether the Seeds Committee of his Department has made any recommendations for the scientific control of seed production; and, if so, does he propose to implement their recommendations?
Mr. HudsonSchemes are operated by my Department for the inspection and certification of crops of wild white clover and by the Welsh Plant Breeding Station for the inspection and certification of growing crops of Aberystwyth strains of grasses and clover. The Ministry also operates a scheme for the inspection and certification of crops of seed potatoes. I have received no recommendations from the Seeds Advisory Committee on the subject of the scientific control of seed production.
