§ Dr. Littleasked the Minister of Supply whether he will consider, with a view to meeting the claims of manufacturers in Northern Ireland for the making up of light clothing required for either men and women, as they feel strongly that they are not getting a fair share of this work?
§ Mr. Harold MacmillanThe claims of manufacturers of light clothing in Northern Ireland are not overlooked. They are given the opportunity to tender and they obtain a fair share of the orders. It will be appreciated that there is a considerable surplus of capacity for the manufacture of light clothing, and that it is not possible to utilise the services of all firms capable and desirous of undertaking this class of work.
