§ Mr. MabaneThe price of stirrup pumps is not controlled, but my right hon. Friend is aware that there has been variation in the type and price of pumps on sale to the public. Steps are now being taken to direct the supply of pumps made to a standard specification to meet the urgent needs of various services and in due course to meet the increasing demand from the public.
