§ Mr. ElliotA number of insurance committees have individually applied at various times in recent months for my approval of amendments of the terms of service for insurance practitioners in their areas (including the provisions applicable under distribution schemes) for the purpose of local schemes for the protection of insurance practices. The applications were made in compliance with the procedure prescribed in the regulations to which the hon. Member refers.
