§ Mr. MabaneMeasures have already been taken to eusure that the additional work at post office counters in reception areas may be performed with smoothness and proper expedition. If my hon. and gallant Friend is aware of any particular case of difficulty I shall be glad to inquire into it.

§ Mr. MabaneThe extra remuneration to sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses takes the form of a flat rate payment based on the number of completed receipts obtained by the sub-postmasters and sub-postmistresses for billeting allowances paid out by them. The basis of these payments has been agreed with the National Federation of Sub-Postmasters.
