Controls of varying degree have been established for the following foodstuffs:

  • Cereals and Cereal Products.
  • Feeding-stuffs.
  • Tea.
  • Canned Meat and Fish.
  • Meat, Bacon and Hams.
  • Dried Fruits.
  • Sugar.
  • Butter.
  • Eggs.
  • Lard.
  • Potatoes.
  • Edible Oils, Oil products.

Excluding the staffs of the divisional and local food organisations, the officers appointed since the outbreak of war and serving on 30th September, numbered 2,249.
