§ Sir K. WoodClaims for family allowances are continuously being received and there is always a large number under examination. In many cases the information supplied by the claimant is insufficient or incorrect, so that further inquiries are necessary before the claim can be passed. Special attention has, however, been given to this matter, and I am satisfied that payment is being made with the minimum of delay.
