AndersonClerks of local authorities have been asked to forward for confirmation particulars of all cases in which, under delegated powers, they have taken possession of land or premises for Civil Defence purposes. I am unable to say in how many cases premises requisitioned included petrol pumps. The compensation payable will be in accordance with the terms of the Compensation (Defence) Act.
