Robinsonasked the Postmaster-General what complaints he has received from Liverpool business men regarding the long delay experienced in the transmission of mails from Egypt to this country; and will he inquire into and, if necessary, take steps to avoid this delay of mail delivery that is seriously hampering trade and commerce between Egypt and this country?
§ Major TryonNo complaints from the business community in Liverpool have been brought to my notice; mails from Egypt are being delivered without delay on arrival in this country, but arrangements for the despatch of the mails are made by the Egyptian Post Office and the time of transmission depends upon the route and frequency of the available transport services.
