Dorman-SmithPowers to enter on and take possession of land suitable for allotment cultivation have been delegated to all borough and urban district councils1230W under the Cultivation of Lands (Allotments) Order, 1939, and every such council has received a letter from my Department urging the council to exercise their powers to the fullest possible extent. These powers are of course additional to those vested in local authorities under the Allotments Acts.
