Evansasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware that as a result of the cost of maintaining old age pensioners at the Cardiff City Lodge having recently risen to 38s. per week due to the higher administrative costs, pension officials have ruled that the pensioner inmates must lose their pensions, and, as a consequence, their weekly allowance of 2s. will cease; and whether he will make a statement on the position?
