Mr. Lawson

asked the Minister of Labour whether he can state the names of the Advisory Committee on Military Service Special Allowances; how often the committee meets and the place of meeting; and the number of claims made and dealt with up to date?

I will reply to this question. The committee normally meets once a week at the offices of the Ministry of Pensions, 18, Great Smith Street, S.W.I. The number of cases referred to the committee up to 12th October inclusive was 2,692, of which 2,573 had been disposed of.

The present members of the Military Service (Special Allowances) Advisory Committee are:
