Mr. Arthur Duckworthasked the Under-Secretary of State for India what arrangements exist in the provincial legislatures of India for limiting the length of speeches?
§ Sir H. O'NeillThe arrangements vary considerably, but speaking generally a time limit of 15 minutes is prescribed for speakers on Motions for the Adjournment and on Resolutions, other than the Mover and the Minister in charge. If the hon. Member so desires I shall be pleased to let him have extracts from the comprehensive information which I have obtained from India on the subject.
