§ Mr. ColvilleI have appointed II Agricultural Executive Committees in the Highland Areas (including Orkney and Shetland). Powers have been delegated to them for the purpose of securing increased production of home-grown food and feeding stuffs. The committees are at present arranging for substantial increases in the area under crop for the harvest of 1940, but it is too early yet to say what the amount of such increases may be.
