BrownIt is impossible within the; limits of a Parliamentary answer to deal with the first part of the question, but the men should be advised to register at their nearest Employment Exchanges through which any available opportunities known to my Department will be brought to their notice. There are, I understand, a certain number of vacancies in the armed forces for specialists such as cooks, wireless operators and instructors for which men over 50 years of age are eligible. Full particulars of these vacancies may be obtained at any recruiting office.
